You mean the previous? 2.1 or 2.01 or something? Because the tree animation definitely has been there for months.

Animated trees isn't a new thing, so if you have lost fps because of the latest update, it's because of something else.

Yeah well it's currently a single player game with server lag anyway so... They seriously need a proper matchmaking, it could be fun to race against real humans.

I don't think it's that bad anymore, you'll get used to the new physics pretty quickly. They should definitely increase the matchmaking time so that you get more than 1-3 players per race. Trolls also need some kind of penalty for racing in the wrong direction or just standing still.

Yep, you should tweak the matchmaking anyway, a lot longer lobby so that you actually get to race with more than 1-2 humans. That would also reduce the server load if that's the problem to begin with.
